A Büntetés-végrehajtás Országos Parancsnokságának Szakkönyvtára a börtönügy irodalma tekintetében országosan egyedülálló gyűjteménnyel rendelkezik. Állománya a könyvekkel, folyóiratokkal és egyéb dokumentumokkal együtt mintegy 8 ezer könyvtári egységet tesz ki.
